Rishabh Pant gained recognition after his standout performance for India at the 2016 U-19 World Cup and for Delhi in the domestic circuit. He has a triple century to his name in Ranji Trophy, too. He was picked up by Delhi Capitals in 2016 and played for them until 2024 while also captaining them. His best season came in IPL 2018 when he scored 684 runs at an average of 52.61 and a strike rate of over 170, including the highest score of 128* that made him the second-youngest player at the time to score a century in the IPL. The swashbuckling batter also has scores of 300+ runs in every edition he has played in since 2017. Pant also made a name for himself for India across formats, especially in Test cricket, with his most iconic moment coming during India’s famous Border-Gavasker Trophy win in 2020/21. The Indian international made history by becoming the most expensive player in IPL history after he was picked by LSG for INR 27 Crore during the 2025 TATA IPL Auction.
