A powerful striker of the cricket ball, Mandeep Singh was part of Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore and was later picked up by Punjab Kings after tournament-leading efforts in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2015 had earned him a place in the Indian T20 team for the tour of Zimbabwe in 2016. Mandeep played 13 matches and often came to the crease with few overs to be bowled in the 2019 season. He remained unbeaten 8 times and will now hope to strike it big. His flexible batting abilities makes him suitable for multiple positions in the batting order and he will be looking to make it count after playing just 7 matches in the 2020 season, scoring 130 runs.
