MatchesA five-wicket haul followed by a four-fer in the ICC U19 World Cup helped Anukul Roy shoot to the limelight. He was the joint-leading wicket-taker in the U19 World Cup. Only 20, Anukul has played List A and Ranji Trophy for Jharkhand. He has 30 first-class wickets to his credit. He has played 10 T20 games and IPL will be a big platform for the youngster to show his skills. With Krunal being the senior left-arm spinner in the side, Anukul had to wait for his turn but he did make his IPL debut in 2019 and picked up one wicket from the only game that he played. Although he didn’t get a game in the 13th edition of the tournament, he significantly made it count as a substitute fielder, picking crucial catches at crucial points of time for the Mumbai Indians. He was roped in by KKR in the 2022 IPL Auction.
