27-year old wicket-keeper batsman from Andhra’s claim to fame is his triple century against Goa in the 2014-15 Ranji Trophy that included 38 boundaries and six sixes. In the process he became only the fifth player in the history of India’s first-Class cricket to score a triple century as a wicketkeeper and the first to do so in Ranji Trophy. Bharat has the reputation of playing a wide array of strokes and is known for his aggressive nature of batting. Kona Srikar Bharat, better known as K.S. Bharat was one of the substitutes for Team India during the historic India’s first-ever Pink ball Test match in 2019 against Bangladesh. He was also a part of the Indian Test dressing room for England’s recently concluded tour to India. At the IPL 2021 Player Auction, KS Bharat was bought by the RCB for his base price of INR 20 lakhs.
