A young Jitesh Sharma made an impression with his attacking intent at the top of the order in domestic cricket for Vidarbha, thus earning his first-ever TATA IPL contract with Mumbai Indians in 2016. But he reinvented himself as a highly capable finisher over the years and had a breakthrough 2022 season with PBKS, then also going on to play for India. With his ability to play effective cameos, finish games, and keep wickets as well, Sharma is an excellent utility player. RCB shelling out a whopping INR 11 Crore for Sharma ahead of TATA IPL 2025 showcases his promise.
