A leg spinner, Ravi Bishnoi first impressed at the U-19 Cricket World Cup in 2020, where he finished as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker. The same year, Bishnoi made his IPL debut for PBKS, picking 12 wickets in 14 matches. He replicated a similar performance in the following season, picking 12 wickets in 9 matches. In 2022, Bishnoi was acquired by LSG and has picked up 39 wickets across the last three seasons, playing a key role as the franchise made it to two playoffs. His consistent performances across the first three seasons also saw him make his national team debut in 2022. Bishnoi bowls a bit flatter and faster than traditional leg-spinners, which makes it tough for the batters to pick and score against him and possesses the lethal wrong’un, which can bamboozle the batters. LSG retained him ahead of the 2025 TATA IPL Auction.
