Leg spinner Mayank Markande is set to represent Delhi Capitals in the VIVO Indian Premier League 2020 after being traded by Mumbai Indians. The Delhi Capitals have traded Sherfane Rutherford, the Guyanese all-rounder to Mumbai Indians.
Having made his debut in the 2018 season, Markande played 14 games and picked 15 wickets. In the 2019 edition in which Mumbai Indians emerged champions, Markande played three games.
Ahead of the 2019 edition, Rutherford was bought by the Capitals for INR 2 crore. He played seven games in his debut IPL season.
