Mishra is an orthodox leg-spinner who flights the ball and makes it turn consistently. He was impressive in IPL 2008 when he picked up a hat-trick while playing for the Delhi Daredevils. Mishra has been a consistent wicket-taker in all the five editions of the tournament. He has also made several useful contributions in the lower order with his timely cameos. But the best from his willow can be expected this season when he turns out for Sunrisers Hyderabad, his morale boosted with a stunning unbeaten 202 in the recently concluded Ranji Trophy tie against Karnataka.
