The Sri Lankan is an achiever by many yardsticks. From the time he made his international debut for the Emerald Isle till date, there are few occasions the stylish left-handed batsman-cum-wicketkeeper has failed. While his batting averages may lean more towards success in the longest version of the game, Sangakkara has time and again shown that he is a batsman to reckon with in the two shorter formats too. Having made his debut in the IPL for Kings XI Punjab, the former Sri Lankan skipper was grabbed by Deccan Chargers in the 2011 Players Auction. He will play the 2013 season for new owners of the team from the Deccan under the Sunrisers Hyderabad banner. Despite not having had a great season last year, the left-hander has the stuff to come back strongly and lead his team ahead.
