Pankaj Singh is a tall fast bowler, who plays for the Rajasthan state side. This 27-year-old has gradually progressed up the ranks. He performed well at the U-19 level, after which he was selected for the India A and his state sides. Thereafter, he got a call-up to the Indian national side. Pankaj was one of the star performers in Rajasthan’s successful Ranji Trophy campaigns in 2010 and 2011. Pankaj bowls at a good pace and often generates awkward bounce off the surface owing to his height. Apart from being a strike bowler, he is also a very capable striker of the ball. He was part of the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2008, and played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the next two seasons. Pankaj played six matches for Royals in IPL 2012 and returned seven wickets. In the 2013 IPL Player Auction he was bought back by RCB for USD 150,000.
