In four IPL seasons, Owais Shah’s name has appeared on the squad-list of three teams – Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders and Kochi Tuskers Kerala. In 2012 he signed up for The Royals. Shah’s IPL career has oscillated as much as his international career, where he has represented England in six Tests, 71 ODIs and 17 T20Is. Despite being a batsman in the classical mould, Shah is a good striker of the ball in Twenty20s and has an average of 34.27. He collected 340 runs from 13 games in his first season with RR and strengthens the middle-order.
