This left-hand opening batsman made his mark at the U-19 level with a 71-ball 112-run knock for Bangladesh against England. Tamim Iqbal manages to maintain a left-hander’s elegance even as he strikes the ball hard. Since the age of 21, Tamim has been known as the hardest hitter of the cricket ball in his country. His play through the off-side is particularly delightful. With his streak of four half-centuries in the 2012 Asia Cup, Tamim not only helped Bangladesh to the final of that tournament, but he also earned himself his maiden IPL contract with PWI before IPL 2012.
