A native of Western Australia, Mitchell Marsh came to prominence as the skipper of the Australian side at the 2010 U-19 World Cup. He led the boys from Down Under to their third title during that tournament, and was picked up by the Deccan Chargers ahead of IPL 2010. Son of the legendary Goeff Marsh, Mitchell also happens to be quite a talented Australian Rules football player, and has represented Western Australia at the U-18 level in the sport. The Pune Warriors India will, however, be hoping for this top-order batsman’s willow wielding skills to be on full display come IPL 2013.
