New Zealand’s James Franklin is a bowling all-rounder. The 31-year-old left-hander made his international debut in 2000-01. While bowling medium pace, Franklin can get the ball to move both ways. It was while playing international cricket that he worked on his batting and earned a gradual promotion up the order. In Twenty20 cricket, Franklin has been used in a variety of roles. He has had success as a finisher, an opener and even a pinch-hitter. He has been part of the Mumbai Indians line-up since IPL 2011.
