A small-town boy from Uttaranchal, Pawan made quite an impression while playing a corporate cricket tournament and soon found himself in the Delhi Ranji team. The 23-year-old left-arm quick made his first-class debut for Delhi in the 2009-10 season. However, it wasn’t until the next season that he picked up 22 wickets in six matches and made a huge impact. Suyal was roped in by the Mumbai Indians prior to IPL 2011 and he is yet to start a game for the franchise.
