Uttar Pradesh’s Shalabh Srivastava is a left-arm medium pacer who represented India in the 2000 ICC U-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka. The 30-year-old has the ability to move the new ball. He even bowls a tempting line consistently and bowls yorkers regularly. Though he lacks express pace, Srivastava has put together a few decent performances for Uttar Pradesh. While he isn’t a regular in his state side, Srivastava is part of the Kings XI Punjab. In IPL 2011, he picked up eight wickets in six matches, at a slightly expensive rate. He will be hoping to put on a better show if he gets a chance to play during IPL 2012.
