A talented fast bowler from Queensland, Nathan Rimmington has had a lot of success in domestic cricket. However, he has been plagued by injuries whenever he’s been in contention for a call-up to the Australian side. This 29-year-old has already undergone a surgery for a serious hip problem. After a few seasons with Queensland, Rimmington moved to Western Australia and has been impressive during his short stint there; he finished with 25 wickets in five matches in the Sheffield Shield this season – the second-best effort among West Australian bowlers. On the Twenty20 front, Rimmington was the second-most successful bowler in the Big Bash and he also had the second-best bowling figures (five for 27) in the tournament. He was part of the Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2011 and will continue to turn out for them in IPL 2012.
