A complete team man, Subramaniam Badrinath is CSK’s grafter extraordinaire. An explosive batsman in his own right, Badrinath has never really shown his tremendous domestic form on the international stage. A seasoned Ranji batsman, he finally got his Test cap in 2010 against South Africa. Badrinath has been the calming factor in the CSK batting line-up, packed with flamboyant hitters. He has, many a times, dropped anchor to steady the team’s rocking boat and eventually taken it safely to the shore.
