Harbajhan fined for slow over rate

MI assessed to be one over behind the required rate

Mumbai Indians captain Harbhajan Singh has been fined after the team maintained a slow over rate during tonight’s DLF IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bangalore.

At the end of the match, Mumbai Indians were assessed to be one over behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.

Since it was his first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Harbhajan was fined US$20,000.
