Rohit Sharma in Code of Conduct Breach

Rohit Sharma from the Mumbai Indians team received an official warning and reprimand for breaching the DLF Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai this evening.

Mr Sharma admitted the Level 1 offence (Article 2.1.2) of kicking the stumps at the end of the match.
For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.
