Sourav Ganguly fined USD 20 000

PWI assessed one and a half overs behind the required rate

Pune Warriors India captain Sourav Ganguly has been fined after the team maintained a slow over rate during last night’s DLF IPL match against Deccan Chargers in Pune.

At the end of the match, Pune Warriors India were assessed to be one and a half overs behind the required rate after allowances were taken into consideration.

Since it was his first offence of the season under the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences, Ganguly was fined US$20 000.
