This all-rounder from Bengal made his Ranji Trophy Twenty20 Debut at the tender age of 16. His hard hitting and disciplined seam bowling got him into the Indian team for the Pepsi Cup in 1998. While his international career waned due to injuries and lack of form, Laxmi was not one to take things lying down. In the last couple of years, he worked hard to pull himself back on the track and now he is a regular member of the Bengal and East Zone teams.
